I totally understand what you mean. I really do. When you browse through amazing artwork on DA, there is a sense of standard that you feel you must uphold, or at least work on. If not, you are here to marvel or get inspired by this level of creativity. There is actually very very creative and interesting and out of this world "nude art."

Nude art is fine. There are some very beautiful scenes of women, although naked, showing a sense of combination and one with nature or their scene. Women bodies and even men bodies make us have empathy and make us think. Not for everyone, yes. But certainly for some people.

As you said, it is an art website.

But when I see blatant low quality nude pictures taken with a phone that exhibits as a sense of "This should be on MySpace or somewhere else I should whore myself out because I want attention and people to know I have this body," I indeed feel like they are "betraying the sense of art." I do not get that offended by PORN. 

I am more...disgusted that these type of pictures find themselves here because they are not at all creative or interesting. They are just pictures of young girls showing themselves out. Not even creatively. It is just their bodies, sometimes unattractive, sometimes not even fully matured bodies. 

Just....WHY? What is the point?

Now, I also will give the benefit of the doubt because if we can accept 10 minute drawings at the level of a toddler, and that is considered "art" because they did what they could with their hands, then why can't we accept these "low down poor versions" of "nude art?" (but really, it is just low down cheap porn by amateurs; if you are going to do it, do it well). 

However, I do have a standard, and I feel so should they. There is one DA artist on here that never shows he face but teases the viewers with very beautiful shots of her body, but always with different clothes, pose, props, and I NEVER sense blatant porn from her. I sense fun. Seriously, there is a difference between the pictures you linked and the creative nudity and porn I like to see. 

I would prefer people to have a higher standard of porn at least. Men modeling is great, but imagine if men just started showing their low-quality phone pictures of their penises in weird positions all the time with nothing creative to see but their penis, and I am SURE someone, including the girls would protest and find it offensive. But if girls do it? There is someone in the comments endorsing it and liking it. They like because it is a chick. She should be going for something much higher than that level of "art" to get recognition. I SEE NO DIFFERENCE BETWEEN GOOD MEN ART AND GOOD WOMEN ART. They need to stop, or at least improve their art skills and do something more interesting and have a MESSAGE with their bodies.

Nah, for those who enjoy the low quality porn, props to you for having hella low expectations.
